SDG17

The course “Understanding SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals” aims to introduce and analyse the Sustainable Development Goal 17, which is dedicated to understanding how the global partnership for sustainable development might be revitalized. Partnerships are intrinsic for trade capacity development, technology transfer, finance for development, and private sector involvement and represents the binder that leads to the achievement of the other SDGs. 

Organized by the University of Oradea as part of the EUGREEN project, the course is divided into three main sections over the course of three weeks. 

Course Objectives 

• Provide an in-depth understanding of SDG17 and its importance within the 2030 Agenda. 

• Examine theoretical and practical aspects of global partnership for sustainable development. 

• Encourage critical debate on tools and strategies to promote global partnership for sustainable development.
