Initiation in GIS
A geographic information system (GIS) is a framework for data collection, management and analysis. Rooted in the science of geography, GIS integrates many types of data. Spatial location analysis and organizes layers of information in views of 3D and scene use. You can unique capabilities, GIS information reveals more in-depth information such as patterns, relationships and situations - which users can use to make smarter decisions.
Hundreds of thousands of organizations for practicing all areas of GIS used to perform communicative care, perform analyzes, share information and solve complex problems around the world. This changes the way we care about information functions.
What we will learn:
- Explore, extract information and create GIS.
- Create intuitive care applications so you can use money and GIS tools.
The discipline aims to familiarize students with the fundamental notions of Geographic Information Systems, whose main purpose is to accumulate a set of basic knowledge on GIS applications in spatial planning and public administration. Emphasis will be placed on acquiring skills in manipulating geographic data and geographic software.
Care will be taken to assimilate the main orders of GIS products from the faculty endowment (ArcGIS).
